Nishimachi EP 6 — Building the Nakate Bridge with Procedural Objects
Nakate Island sits just off the coast of downtown Nishimachi. Episode 6 builds a direct connection: the Nakate Bridge, a cable-stayed crossing inspired by Finland's Jätkänkynttilä Bridge.

The Build
Built almost entirely with Procedural Objects — main pylons shaped from building props, cable stays from stretched wire props, bridge deck from elevated road segments, and approach ramps on both ends.
The cable-stayed design creates a distinctive silhouette against the skyline — something a simple beam bridge cannot achieve.

Why Procedural Objects?
PO handles stretching props for cables of varying lengths, rotating elements at precise angles, and scaling pylons to custom dimensions. The trade-off is build time, but the result is a one-of-a-kind structure.

The Nakate Bridge opens up the island for future development and demonstrates a PO workflow that returns throughout the series.
